Nowadays, it is becoming more and more convenient and easy to do things or buy our necessities without needing to leave our house.
Many online shops nowadays are offering door-to-door delivery at affordable shipping rates with many payment options to choose from. If before that you need to give your payment first before shopping, now online shops are offering cash on delivery options.
But sadly, some shoppers abused the dedication of online shopping’s staff and personnel, including delivery riders. Just like the incident shared on Facebook.
According to a certain Bea Aspiras, the delivery boy was waiting in front of the house of his customer for more than an hour, enduring the scorching heat. Bea felt sorry for the delivery boy because he already looks so tired yet he still needed to wait under the heat of the sun just to deliver the order of his customer.
She wrote,
“Nakita ko si Manong rider sa labas ng ganito almost 1h din syang nag hintay dun sa customer. Honestly, nakakaawa talaga sila makitang ganito lalo na’t pag nakita mo yung itsura nila na halatang pagod na. Nung lumabas yung customer, binati siya ni Manong nang nakangiti. And he’s old na guys but still manage to do his job. Kudos to you Manong 🙏🏻.”
She added,
“Kaya guys, di nila deserve saktan at murahin. They’re patiently waiting for us to get our order/s, yung ibang customers lang talaga walang patience minsan… di po natin alam kung ano lagay nila sa kalsada, respeto nalang po sa trabaho nila.”
It was impressive how this delivery guy didn’t get mad at the customer for making him wait, instead, he gave a smile to his customer though he was already tired. He might be angry but he still remains professional, which is truly admirable.
