Kapuso star Rich Asuncion recently encouraged her fans and followers to be motivated and work harder amid the pand3mic.
On her Instagram account, the Starstruck alumna shares all the difficulties and obstacles she faced when she and her partner, Benjamin Mudie, decided to migrate to Australia together with their daughter Bela.
Rich admitted that she had a hard time adjusting in the said country, especially they arrived in Australia in February this year, the month was the case of C0VID-19 continue to increase.
The “Ika-Anim na Utos” star also said it took her some time to adjust to the country even though her husband is an Australian national.
One time, she comes up to an idea to look for a job that can reduce the sadness that she is feeling but it keeps her self-confidence at the same time.
Rich wrote,
“Simulan natin ang post na ito nang masaya. Napakasaya ko ngayong araw dahil natanggap ko na ang una kong sweldo… at sa wakas ay di na ako nalulugmok sa lungkot.
“Malaking bagay to dahil sa panahon ngayon ang hirap humanap ng dahilan para sumaya.”
The former beauty queen then revealed to her post what her current job is now in Australia.
“Marami naman kasing opportunities dito basta di ka lang mapili. So yun nga, dahil di na ako nagpaka-choosy [laughting with tears emoji] sinubukan ko na ang pagwi-waitress. Casual job at a restaurant.”
She added,
“Nung una nahirapan ako tanggaping pero narealize ko ngayon, ano naman ang masama dun. Part pa rin naman sya ng Tourism course na kinuha ko sa UP.
“At wala akong karapatan maginarte kasi nabigyan ako ng panibagong chance to start anew.”
She also gives some advice to those people who keep taking their opportunity for granted.
Rich wrote,
“My point here is, I know most of us will need to adjust to a new/different life after this pandemic. And that’s not all that bad. To be able to survive through this is already a blessing.
“As hard as it may seem, look for the silver lining. Hold on and say I am still a champion. Be grateful because some people have lost more than you already have.”
